Former Serbian diplomat and ambassador to Britain and the Vatican, Vladeta Janković, today assessed that it is devastating who represents Serbia in three key capitals: Beijing, Washington and Moscow.

He added that the possible appointment of Marko Đurić as ambassador to the United States would be “an additional error both because of Đurić’s demonstrated incompetence and recklessness in foreign policy speeches.”
Jankovic said Djuric’s appointment as ambassador was just “one more step in the collapse of the diplomatic network” of Serbia.
“Apart from inexperience and a certain pretense without cover, Đurić is also marked by a mortgage of known connections with certain troubled circles in the north of Kosovo.” The latter, by the way, could prove to be an obstacle to obtaining an agreement, “said Janković.
