Immunologist Srdja Jankovic said that the small number of newly registered kovida-19 cases should not be interpreted as a sign that it is time to relax, adding that despite the decrease in pressure, the capacity of hospitals is close to the ocupation.
He added that the reason for the lower number of new cases registered is the fact that fewer people request the tests during the holidays.
“It takes time for the smallest number of infected people to reflect on the number of people who have a worse clinical picture,” Janković added for TV Pink.
Speaking about the next vaccination process, the immunologist stated that he would be happy to receive any type of vaccine to show that they are safe.
“All vaccines that pass the (Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices) criteria are safe to use,” Jankovic said.
