Ivan Kontić, suspected of beating a young man in Novi Sad in late August, was arrested today in Montenegro, media reported.
As Blic reported, referring to the Objektiv portal, Kontić fled the country after beating a young man on Jevrejska Street in Novi Sad, and an international arrest warrant was issued against him.
In mid-September, a video of the brutal beating on August 24 appeared on social media, in which a young man beat another and continued to brutally beat him while he lay motionless on the ground and broke his arms.
The Montenegrin police announced today that IK was arrested in a rented apartment in the Zabjelo settlement on the basis of an international arrest warrant issued by NCB Interpol Belgrade.
He is allegedly charged with the crime of attempted murder, which he allegedly committed on the territory of Serbia.
