Ivan Pavlović (42) jumped from the fourth floor of the Misdemeanor Court building in Kragujevac. He was taken to hospital with a broken limb, but his life was not in danger.
Pavlović jumped out of the window of the building where the City Administration is located, and the incident occurred yesterday afternoon.
He fell directly onto the roof, which is two stories below, and on that occasion he suffered serious bodily injuries, all his limbs were broken and he suffered a spinal cord injury.
He was treated immediately at the KC Kragujevac Orthopedics, his life is not in danger, but he is in serious condition.
Pavlović was brought before the duty judge for misdemeanors by police officers from the Kragujevac Police Department yesterday afternoon because he violated the restraining order imposed due to domestic violence.
As we have learned unofficially, he was prohibited from approaching his mother, against whom he had previously committed domestic violence. As he violated the approach and contact prohibition measure, yesterday he was brought before the judge on duty for fouls.
After the presentation of the evidence, Pavlović walked out of the misdemeanor judge’s office into the corridor, where he was together with the police officers, and suddenly jumped out of the open window.
An investigation of all the circumstances surrounding this event is underway.
