It may be understandable that many are in a hurry to send this year, fortunately unique, as soon as possible, however, it is not reasonable to give money for the holidays and New Years celebrations now, during the greatest fight against the crown, witness of the outbreaks of kovida 19. However, the greatest scourge of the new millennium has created parallel realities. In one, the hospitals are full of patients with crowns, and in the other, the book of reservations of catering services for New Year’s Eve?
For example, in the capital, offers for New Year’s Eve have already been published in seven or eight different locations. Indoors, of course, although authorities have been warning for months that gatherings in such an environment are the greatest risk of infection. Come on, offers have come out from which catering companies claim that there are fewer and fewer free places to spend on the craziest night.

The owners of the restaurant affirm that the anti-epidemiological measures will be respected to the maximum.
– Here it can be relatively isolated at the table, if there are more of you we can connect the tables. By the way, we respect all measurements, including that of a man in four square meters. All staff wear a mask. There will be tamburitza of music. The New Year’s Eve price of 80 euros includes dinner, but not drinks. Reservations are going well for now. The question is whether there will be places for reservations in December, explains the manager of one of the restaurants in Skadarlija.
In clubs and on rafts, New Year’s celebrations may be cheaper, but no one can say for sure what the price of such “ventilation” is.
– Prices vary from place to place and according to position in the club. If you book bar tables, prices are roughly 50-60 euros, while high seats cost 100 euros. You can drink homemade drinks in unlimited quantities, while foreign alcohol is paid extra, they explain in a club.
“If there is a ban, we will refund the money”
In almost all catering facilities, they do not mention protective measures against kovida 19 when New Year’s Eve is announced. Even now, when even stricter measures have been announced, which, among other things, have shortened the work of clubs and cafes until 6pm. They talk about this unwanted topic only when asked a specific question.
– I think we will know the real situation around December 15th. Regardless, many people have already paid for reservations. In case the crisis staff prohibits the celebration of the New Year indoors, we will refund the money to the guests; almost all catering services in the capital tell a similar story.
Unprecedented interest in mountains
On the other hand, travel agencies claim that there is an unprecedented interest in celebrating the New Year on the mountain.
– The greatest demand is of course for accommodation in Kopaonik, Zlatibor and Tara, but also in other mountains. Interestingly, more and more people are asking and booking a trip to a home in the country where they can be completely isolated from others. Some catering providers are taking advantage of this situation with a pandemic, which is why they have significantly raised the price of accommodation, they emphasize in a travel agency.
