“I want to thank all members of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army for the years of joint service in the army, the state and the people. I am grateful to each of you and especially to the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Army, Aleksandar Vučić, for the opportunity to participate in the renewal and strengthening of our army, for freedom, and there is no free Serbia without a strong army, free from orders and decisions of foreigners.
We fight and fight so that decisions about the army will be made solely by Serbia, and we fight for the right to care for the Republika Srpska and all Serbs wherever they live. We pay our respects to our war commanders and refuse to resign and shame our heroes. Thanks to your perseverance and stubbornness, thanks to the personal commitment of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Army, the army, whom I salute with pride, after the end of my service is stronger, better equipped, more trained and more satisfied than it was.
