Defense attorneys for Zoran Marjanovic and expert defense advisor Sasa Savic questioned telecommunications expert Dragomir Vasiljevic for more than two hours today in the continuation of the trial for the murder of Jelena Marjanovic.

We remind you that the judicial expert Vasiljevic stated yesterday that at the time of the murder of his wife Jelena Marjanović, on April 2, 2016, the defendant turned off his cell phone for 25 minutes and turned it on again at 5:04 pm, near the place on the embankment. in Crvenka, from where the singer got off before being murdered.

The defense asked the judicial expert several dozen questions, claiming that Marjanović could not turn off the phone without the base stations registering two logos, that is, he turned it on and immediately called his wife.

– If the phone had been turned off when it was turned on, it would have logged at least two or three times at the base stations, and during the call, a call would have been logged – said defense advisor Sasa Savic.

– If you had turned on the phone and stayed there for three minutes, the base stations would have changed. This was a flash call. As soon as he turned on the phone, he called Jelena. That’s why you don’t see two logos, answered the expert Vasiljevic.

During today’s presentation, Vasiljevic confirmed that Jelena Marjanovic had the last call with her mother at 4:36 pm and that Milana Sisic sent her an SMS before her death at 4:51 pm.

Footage from surveillance cameras near the crime scene will be reviewed later in the trial.
