Paris is as beautiful as you experience it because it offers countless possibilities. It must have enchanted a Serb, a Parisian, as soon as he decided to build a miniature Eiffel tower or a tower in Serbia, as some call it.
Dragiša Milanović was born in a place near Despotovac called Plažane. He left his hometown and came to France when he was 21 years old.
He lived in France for a full 42 years, where he also retired.
A few years ago, he came up with the idea to perpetuate his love for Paris by building the Eiffel Tower in his backyard in the village of Plažane. And he got it.
In her garden, a model of a Parisian beauty is in the foreground. Dragisa said the idea came to her spontaneously and there were several comments at the beginning. There were those who supported him, but also those who ridiculed him.
Dragisa’s tower was built by three workers. It is 13 meters high and weighs a ton. The family initially disagreed with his idea.
However, everyone who passes and sees the tower must comment on something.
At first, the neighbors feared that the Eiffel Tower would attract lightning and thunder and kill them all. However, there are many people who come and want to take pictures under the tower.
Dragisa likes to climb his tower and have coffee with those closest to him, spending his retirement days carefree.
