Belgrade lawyer Marko Vujosevic (40), who was attacked today for the third time in the last year, says he cannot even guess why he is the target of the attack, this time with a firearm. Vujosevic went public regarding the business related to call centers that were involved in a fraud worth more than 200 million euros!

Today, around 10 o’clock, the lawyer was shot in front of his office on Resavska Street in Belgrade. According to eyewitnesses, five bullets were fired. Stefan Š. He was hurt. (28), who was in the company of lawyer Vujosevic, and who, according to unofficial information, is his bodyguard. The lawyer was unharmed from the attack and Stefan Š. he was wounded in the leg. After the shooting, he was transferred to the Orthopedic Clinic and his life was not in danger.

– I have no idea who would shoot me. I have no idea and can’t even guess. It is strange to me that he fired a shot, but there is nothing I did to be the target of the attack, lawyer Vujosevic told “Blic”.

This lawyer was made public for the last time in relation to the business related to the call centers that the Israeli manages, through which a fraud worth more than 200 million euros was carried out. Call center workers found victims across Europe who were dragged into investing money in non-existent online currency trading. This insidious fraud was discovered after Aleksandar Ignjatović from Belgrade reported it and reported it to the police. He also reported everything to the German investigative bodies and was supposed to be a witness in this case, however, on February 11, 2020, he was found dead in a hotel room. The cause of death was officially that his heart stopped. He was only 34 years old.

Ignjatovic was found dead a few months before he was supposedly the main witness in the trial of the Israeli Gala Barak, the organizer of this criminal group.

How did the scam work?

In 2017, Israel adopted tough laws to prevent fraudulent companies from harming investors around the world. So Gal Barak moved from Israel and entered the Balkans. He opened the first companies in Bulgaria and then in Serbia. In September 2017, Cactus Marketing company opened in Belgrade, and the call center is located on the fourth floor of a Belgrade hotel. On the first day of June 2018, all Serbian workers leave E&G in Sofia and return to Belgrade, where Gal Barak opens a new company, My Markets, which was located in New Belgrade.

The legal affairs of Gala Barak and Uve Lenhof in Belgrade were handled by lawyer Marko Vujošević and his friend Lazar Hopl. Vujosevic then agreed to speak on behalf of “Byrne,” who also revealed the matter.

Vujosevic, who normally operates in Belgrade and Montenegro, said at the time that he was worth “about 200 million euros” for his stake in that business:

– I asked them what they do, they explained it to me, but it is as if they were telling me now that I am dealing with rocket technology. That was so strange to me, I had never heard of binary options and forex before – said Vujosevic.

Austria’s indictment related to this case states that the Podgorica GPS company, one of whose founders is Vujosevic, laundered illegally acquired money for Gala Barak’s needs. Vujosevic later denied those claims.

– I opened the company on behalf of Gala Barak and Uve Lenhof. That’s what I do in 99 percent of the cases where the client doesn’t want to be exposed – lawyers set up companies in their own name – says Vujosevic, adding that the company made 23 million euros in one year.

Marko Vujosevic said a few months ago that after the termination of work with the call centers and the arrest of the founders, numerous customer complaints began to arrive asking for a refund.

In a statement to “Blic”, Vujosevic says he cannot link the shooting on Resavska Street to that business.

– Too long has passed since that operation and my representation. I don’t think anyone would wait three years to organize something now. But I have no responsibility for that job. I received all rates except the last one: Vujosevic points to “Blic”.

Vujosevic also finds no motive for the assassination attempt in his current business.

– I don’t have clients of that caliber and scope and have never dealt with guilt. I represent various individuals and companies. I have no idea why someone would shoot me … I like Trump, now Biden has come, maybe that’s why … I have no enemies – he said.

Attacked three times

Lawyer Marko Vujosevic, as he says of “Blic”, has been attacked three times so far. Last January, the first news was that a group of young people broke into his apartment and beat him. He then denied being beaten in the apartment, but was slightly injured in a fight in the parking lot.

– I parked the car, started and after 20 meters I turned around because I forgot to lock the key. Then I saw a young man hiding around my car. I came back and asked him what the problem was. That’s when basketball started – said the lawyer at the time.
