As we learned, up to six unknown persons participated in the robbery of the home of the owner of the gas station chain. We learned from a source close to the investigation that two were in charge of following Knezevic’s movements, one was in the car in which they were driving, another in front of the house, while the two were heading to the businessman’s house.

“The thieves obviously followed my every step for some time and waited for a suitable opportunity to rob me,” Knezevic tells us. – It is true that they wrote to me. At the time of the robbery, I was with my family at my mother and sister’s house, at the baptismal celebration that we celebrated in the family circle, because my father recently passed away. The thieves jumped over the fence and closed the back door to enter the house.

When Knezevic returned and parked the car in the garage, the thieves were still in the house, but they heard someone break in and run away. The entire event lasted exactly 21 minutes, from 5:34 p.m. to 5:55 p.m., which was recorded by surveillance cameras.

– They knew perfectly well that there was nobody in the house – Knezevic points out. – They did a full search, even emptied coffee and sugar from the jar to find money. They also moved all the pictures on the walls, hoping that behind one of them there was a safe with money. The house was totally ruined. Everything was prepared perfectly and the thieves thought of every detail. Two “Rolex” watches and 100,000 euros were stolen, which I will donate to the police if they are found.

When asked if this case has something to do with the incident in Budva on August 24 last year, when he was attacked by Milan Kalostrovic of Petrovcan, who tried to extort 120,000 euros from him, the businessman told our newspaper that he had no such information . .

– I’m not sure what the background of this robbery is or if it is related to the incident on the Montenegrin coast – says the owner of “Knez Petrol”. – It is up to the police to shed light on the theft and investigate if there is any connection. As I was told, the remains of biological traces and fingerprints are being searched, and the police are doing everything possible to catch the thieves as soon as possible.

SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS

In order to shed light on this case, the police will have great help with the images of the surveillance cameras, which have already taken over and in which everything has been recorded. However, at this time, it is difficult to determine the identity of the perpetrators of this robbery, because the robbers had ghosts in their heads.
