In the villages around Sjenica, the snow has not stopped for hours, some villages have been completely cut off from the main road and around 1,000 residents have been without power due to the storm.

– The roads are impassable, there is no electricity in the villages. The locals are in big trouble, and in some villages they were left without medical help, because the ambulance driver had a stroke and they just dragged him to the main road, to give him the necessary medical help – Miljan Konatar told RINA MZ Bare Cave.

The first priority roads in the territory of the Sjenica municipality are mostly passable and mechanization has not yet reached the remote villages.

– What is scary is the intensity of the precipitation. The snow does not stop and the question is how many will attack – Konatar said.
The villages without electricity are Borišići, Zahumsko, Visočka, Vrbnica, Plana, Tutice, Blato, Krajinovići and some villages of MZ Štavalj and Duga Poljana.
