Mustafa published this letter the day after yesterday’s meeting with the EU’s special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, who has been in Pristina since 13 October.
Mustafa stated that he presented this letter to Lajcak, telling him that he understood the letter as an “obligation of the EU”.
As he further states, he did not publish the letter when he received it because he considered the attacks at that time unfounded, mainly on Self-Determination.
During a two-day visit to Pristina, Lajcak met with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdulah Hoti, and the President of the Kosovo Assembly, Vjos Osmani, and with the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, but also with party leaders politicians.

However, Lajcak also used a word that is often used by the Serbian side, and almost never by the EU: “any agreement must be the result of a compromise,” he said at the end of his visit to Pristina, before going to Belgrade.
