Final agreement on the program and staffing solutions is expected to be completed by the end of October. It has been speculated that someone from the top of the Serbian New Democracy and the Socialist People’s Party could be deputy prime ministers, while the URA Civic Movement does not resign from the security sector. It is mentioned that the Democratic Front, together with the URA, will nominate the staff for the Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro. The Movement for Change announced that its leader Nebojsa Medojevic will run for a position in the security sector, Branka Bosnjak for education and Branko Radulovic for science.
However, the leadership of the Serbian New Democracy announced that “only the modalities according to which the government should be formed were discussed with the designated prime minister, and that all the unofficial information we find in the media is not exact.
What is known is that the “Blanco y Negro” coalition and its Civic Movement URA are looking for the security sector. Dritan Abazović, head of the list of this coalition, believes that certain positions in the future government, especially those related to the security sector, should include people 100% loyal to the state.
– We will not deviate one millimeter from that – Abazović is categorical.
The prime minister-designate of the new government, Zdravko Krivokapić, says it is impossible “in our environment for the government to be fully expert.”
– But the politicians who enter the government will have to demonstrate experience in the departments they lead – Krivokapić announced, announcing the formation of the executive branch no later than 11 November.
Political analyst Srdjan Vukadinovic estimated that the future government, without Andrija Mandic, Milan Knezevic and Nebojsa Medojevic, that is, ministers of their parties, will not be stable in any case.
– If the Democratic Front won 66 percent of the mandate, it should have almost two-thirds of ministerial posts – thinks Professor Vukadinović.
DPS: MARITAL STATUS, NON-SERBIAN
OPPOSITION The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Milo Djukanovic harshly criticized Prime Minister-designate Zdravko Krivokapic on Tuesday for allegedly discriminating again against all Montenegrin citizens who do not declare themselves Serbs, which is more than 70%. “With the allusion he made that Montenegro is a Serbian state, Krivokapic is returning to his ideological matrix, which he left only briefly.” They claim that Krivokapić must “respect all citizens and act in accordance with the Constitution, according to which our state is civil.”
INVITATION TO VUCIC
On Tuesday, Montenegro’s Prime Minister-designate Zdravko Krivokapić invited Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to visit the country, emphasizing that Montenegro wants good relations with everyone in the region, especially with Serbia.
– Above all, I want good relations with Serbia, which, it seems to me, is a bit disturbed – said Krivokapić. – I want to invite Mr Vučić to visit Montenegro, so that we, as two politicians, although I am not a politician, but I am in that position, can find out what is bothering us in our relations and find a bridge over that.
