Former Savski Venac City Council President and Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) official, Irena Vujović, was elected the new Minister of Environmental Protection.
Let us remind you, the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, presented today, after the session of the Presidency of the SNS, who will be the new ministers in the Government of Serbia.
By the way, the new Serbian government will have 21 ministries and, in addition to the Prime Minister, it will have 10 more women.
Vujović was born on April 3, 1983 in Belgrade and completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Geoeconomics (Faculty of International Economics at Megatrend University).
From 2005 to 2008, she was a cooperation coordinator in the Department of International Cooperation at John Nesbit University. She was also an assistant professor in Modern Russian Economics and Post-Soviet Space Economics.
She joined the Serbian Progressive Party in 2008. She was a member of the Main Board, while she became a member of the SNS Presidency in May 2016. In the 2012 and 2014 elections, she was elected a Member of the Serbian Parliament.
In May 2014, she was appointed assistant to the mayor of Belgrade, Siniša Mali, in charge of social activities. She soon resigned as a deputy, because the Anticorruption Agency announced that she could not perform both functions at the same time. In June 2016, she was elected president of the municipality of Savski Venac.
“I try to have nice shoes and a nice bag”
In an interview, he claimed that his political idol was Aleksandar Vučić, “because he showed knowledge, willingness and courage in his desire to reform Serbia.” It is also considered one of the most beautiful Serbian policies.
In an interview for the newspaper “Alo”, she revealed that she is a great foodie, that she loves pasta and Italian food, but is not a fan of sweets, that she gives more money to black sweaters and black T-shirts, and that “Try to have good shoes and a nice bag.”
