He stated that there is a major ecological and infrastructure problem in Serbia related to wastewater treatment.
“At the meeting we agreed to put Parain on the priority list, to initially design a sewage treatment plant, build a new sewerage network and provide the inhabitants of this city with a level of civilization in sewage treatment.” said Momirovi in Parain, who visited yesterday with Prime Minister Ana Brnabi and the Minister of State Administration and Local Autonomy Marija Obradova.
He stated that it is an investment of at least 30 million euros and expressed his hope that the project will be agreed with the partners in a very short time, with the expectation that the works will begin by the end of the year.
These works, he says, not only concern communal infrastructure, because, according to Momir, when sewer pipes are changed, local roads are also changed.
“We hope that through a large project that concerns a large number of municipalities, mainly in central Serbia, we will change the communal infrastructure and through these investments we will change the local road infrastructure. I think it will be very important for the citizens.” Momirovi said.
He stated that, in addition to investments in infrastructure, in these difficult circumstances it is important to maintain macroeconomic stability.
“I believe that we have reached good conclusions, that we need to initiate serious investments and completely change the perception that has prevailed in the municipality of Parain until now,” said Momirovi, who is convinced that citizens will see great changes in the municipality of Parain . in the next year or two.
