This was said tonight for RTS by the Deputy Minister of Health for Inspection Affairs, Goran Stamenković, and claimed that the violations of the measures occurred mainly in catering facilities and shopping centers.

He stated that in the previous seven days almost three times more calls were received from citizens to denounce the breach of the measures.

“There is discontent over the behavior of certain legal persons that do not respect the measures, the number of visitors to the facilities …”, Stamenković said, saying that all those who do not respect the measures will be sanctioned to the maximum, and that legal persons they will be fined 500,000 dinars.

He stated that the health inspectors of Belgrade, Kragujevac, Nis, Zajecar, Smederevo, Valjevo and Vranje were especially active in the previous days.

He specified that in the previous two nights, around eight reports of misdemeanors out of the 25 inspections were drawn up in Belgrade alone, which, he added, means that one in three catering facilities violated some measures and should be punished.

Stamenkovic called on everyone to respect the measures and be responsible and disciplined to protect the Serbian health system, theirs and the health of others and prevent the corona virus from spreading further.
