During the first 24 hours, the Inspections Contact Center, whose telephone number is 011 / 63-50-322, received more than 100 complaints, which mainly referred to a greater number of people gathered inside, disrespecting the social distance and no protective gear.
According to the statement, the inspections will react urgently on the basis of those reports.
The Republic Inspections Contact Center is a single administrative place for the 44 inspections, where citizens and the economy can express doubts about the legality or compliance with certain binding regulations.
The establishment of the Contact Center for Inspections of the Republic is one of the activities planned in the reform of the inspection system, and the start of works to protect citizens and the economy from reckless behavior during the pandemic has been accelerated.
The Contact Center was launched by the Government in March, in cooperation with the Ministry of State Administration and Local Autonomy, the Support Unit for the Coordination Commission for the Supervision of Inspection, the IT Office and Electronic Administration and NALED, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
