In this city, according to the report of the Uzice Institute of Public Health, 24 cases of corona have been confirmed today, the most convincingly since the start of the third wave of the epidemic. Most of the positives have no symptoms or have a milder clinical picture, so the Uzice General Hospital and the temporary hospital are not filling at high speed.
According to data from the Uzice Health Center, 95 patients are currently housed in the Kovid hospital in the area of the former barracks, which occupies almost two-thirds of the capacity of this facility. There are nine positive or suspected coronavirus patients at the General Hospital, eight of whom are in intensive care and five of them are on respirators.
The city headquarters for emergency situations indicated that the epidemiological situation in the city has worsened.
– One of the conclusions of the session is that there is an increasing number of cases of suspected kovid 19 in the working groups. Also, a large number of patients are asymptomatic, have no problems but tests show that they are positive. The city headquarters will monitor the situation on a daily basis and, based on that, propose bans and restrictions, said Dr. Jelena Raković Radivojević, Mayor of Užice.
Counting Uzice, 69 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed today in the Zlatibor district. With 14 more positives, Prijepolje is the municipality with the most difficult epidemiological picture, while after 24 yesterday, 13 more positive findings reached Kosjerić today. Seven infected people are from Požega, five from Nova Varoš, three from Arilje, two from Sjenica and one from Čajetina.
