The president of the municipality of Novi Becej, Sasa Maksimovic, declared today an emergency situation throughout the territory of that municipality of Banat Central, based on the Conclusion of the Emergency Situations Headquarters.
As indicated in the Decision, a state of emergency is declared due to the spread of the epidemic of the infectious disease Kovid 19, and with the purpose of implementing preventive and operational measures to protect the safety and health of the population, reports RTV.
In yesterday’s telephone session, the Municipal Emergency Headquarters also adopted new measures, according to which, from today November 24 to December 3, the working hours of catering establishments (restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, etc. .) centers, theaters, cinemas and other cultural institutions and organizers of special and classic games of chance, so these facilities will not operate in the period between 6:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the following day.
The Department of Inspection Services of the Municipal Administration of Novi Becej was ordered an intensified supervision measure on the application of the measures prescribed in that conclusion.
