The President made a tour in the company of Patriarch Irinej, and on his Instagram account he shared photos of the tour where you can appreciate all the beauty and splendor of the mosaics inside the Temple of Vracar.
– With His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Mr. Irinej, I visited the final works inside the Temple of Saint Sava – it was written with the photos of the tour on the Instagram account “AVučić”.
– I am in the Temple for the first time since all the scaffolding was removed from His Holiness the Patriarch. I just want to say to all the people in Serbia and around the world that our Temple looks better than the great and magnificent Hagia Sophia and that it will be Hagia Sophia. There are more than 50 million mosaic cubes, 320 tons of mosaics. And it looks so good, that, as the Serbian patriarch said, words are missing! And I am glad that all the citizens of Serbia and all Serbs, wherever they live, will soon be able to come to the Temple and see what generations of our ancestors, and we, together with them, managed to do! – concluded the president.
