Members of the Ministry of the Interior in Bor arrested MM (20) and V. NJ. (44), both from the vicinity of Boljevac, on suspicion of having committed the crime of ill-treatment and torture in conjunction with the crime of illegal deprivation of liberty.
The suspects are accused of approaching a man (21) who was sitting in his car at the gas station in Selište last night, pulling him out and hitting him, and then put them in the trunk of his vehicle and drove a few kilometers away. It is suspected that after stopping the vehicle they beat the young man again, after which he managed to escape.
MM is also charged with later returning to the gas station and physically assaulting a gas station worker. Then, as suspected, he went to a village near Bor, where he entered the house of a sleeping man (24) and hit him several times on the head with a stick. Then he broke the glass of his car in the yard, for which he is charged with the commission of criminal acts of violent conduct and abuse and torture.
– The suspects were detained for up to 48 hours and will be taken to the Basic Prosecutor’s Office of Bor with a criminal complaint – announced the Ministry of the Interior.
