Yesterday, Croatia apologized to Serbia and announced the sending of a protest note that theologian Miloš Stojković, as they say, “as a member of the Serbian delegation visiting Croatia, called Knin ‘Serbian and busy'”. However, Stojković claims that this is not true and that it has nothing to do with the controversial post on Facebook, as well as that he visited Knin as a humanitarian and not as a state representative, and such movements, as he says, if he does not stand up. .

When did you go to Knin and in what capacity?

– I went exclusively for humanitarian purposes, not only to Knin but also to other cities. Every year, I organize the distribution of packages to Serbs living in Kosovo and Metohija, Serbs in the region, in Macedonia, as well as Serbs in Croatia. We sent messages of love and peace and we wanted to show our people that we think of them and support them. I turned off in that capacity came to Knin.

When was that?

– The action lasted several days, I was in Knin on Tuesday.

Why video is the protest note announced?

– What they say is wrong. They don’t list everything as it was. We went privately to the fortress in Knin and the mayor of Knin (Marko Jelić, priv. Nov.), his friends invited him. We greeted him, shook hands, took photos. Later, while we were away from him, we commented that the action of “Storm” was a crime and that was our personal position. I didn’t post the video and their problem is they got the state involved more or less quickly. That speaks to your fear.

Were you surprised by the reaction?

– Of course I was surprised. What they sent is proof that despite our desire to live in peace, to convey messages of love, all kinds of commitment annoys them. It takes two to love and respect. I offer respect, but I also want to say that Operation Storm was a crime. What’s the problem with that? They want to crucify me in the media. And they can do that to me personally, but not to the state, because I don’t have any state function in Serbia. It is unfair to involve the state in all of this, especially since I appreciate the efforts of my state and my president to achieve good neighborly relations with Croats.
