The new package of economic measures has a value of 2,500 million euros, and the first money in the account, already in March, will be delivered to entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized businesses. They will receive money in both April and May, and financial aid for citizens will begin in May.

Each entrepreneur and worker employed in micro and small businesses will receive a total of 48,000 dinars. The state will pay them 50 times for each worker 50 percent of the minimum wage, which today amounts to about 32,000 dinars a month.

Thus, in March, employers will receive 16,000 (about 135 euros) for each employee, and the same case will be in April and May, when they will receive a total of 32,000 dinars (about 270 euros).

When it comes to large companies, there is still no decision on whether the state will help them as well. Analysis is being done and so far they have shown that in large companies, 25 of them had a fall of more than 70 percent, while in small ones, more than 10,000 registered such a fall.

“The only dilemma is for large companies, we are working on an analysis of how many companies there are and whether to include them in 50 percent of the minimum wage. Let’s see how much they were in jeopardy, how much they drop in performance, how many employees they have, and they make the right decision. Meaning and how to help them, “said Minister Siniša Mali.

As with the previous package of measures, registered workers will be entitled to a minimum wage.

The so-called sector support has also been announced, for the activities most affected by the coronavirus pandemic, for which carriers will receive 600 euros per bus in the next six months. It is a support to the sector of passenger road transport and bus stations, which are the most threatened, and the objective is to preserve them.

All adult citizens of Serbia will also receive support in the form of direct financial assistance. Already in the second half of April, they will be able to apply for state aid of 30 euros each through the call center and the website of the Serbian Treasury.

Enrollment will begin in April and the method will be the same as last year.

Whoever requests the first 30 euros, will automatically receive another 30 euros. You do not need to log in twice. Retirees will receive an additional 50 euros. That “bonus” will be paid to seniors in September.

They will not have to register at all, because there is a well-established system with the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund regarding payments to the elderly.

Beneficiaries of social assistance will also not have to apply for help and there are about 150,000 of them. There is also data for them, and the money will be paid to them without registering.
