“Due to the numerous problems in the covid clinics, the municipal health centers and the General Hospital in Krusevac, as well as the overcrowded jobs in the reference laboratories, it is very difficult to determine accurate data on the epidemic in time. Today we review the data and we found a lot of deaths in the last nine days, which is unfortunately true: 21 men and eight women died, a total of 29. Since the beginning of the epidemic in this part of Serbia, a total of 99 – 73 men and 26 women: 52 from Krusevac, 16 from Trstenik, 13 from Varvarin, nine from Aleksandrovac, six from Brus and three from Ćićevac “, says Dr. Predrag Pavlović, director of the Kruševac Institute of Public Health.
Today’s report from the district medical institution is concerning. In one day, 156 citizens were recently infected in Rasina district, which is at the level of the last days, and most are from Kruševac – 61, then Trstenik – 46, in Varvarin there are 20 new patients, in Aleksandrovac 16 cases, in Brus 8 and in Ćićevac one more.
Krusevac General Hospital has a capacity for 229 covid patients, 109 above the projected capacities, totaling 120 beds. The kovid 19 virus has been registered in the Rasina district since the beginning of the epidemic in a total of 7,099 people, of the 23,087 samples sent and 4,733 were cured.
