The solution to the problem that has been bothering importers and sellers for over a year, but also owners of used cars imported from abroad, seems to have arrived.
The latest modifications to the Ordinance on the printing of identification marks, published in the Official Gazette on January 22, will finally allow the registration of thousands of imported used cars.
The application of the new regulations, which will enter into force on January 30, will allow the registration of a large number of vehicles that could not be registered because they were discolored, rusted or with illegible engine numbers and that, therefore, are in parking lots and car parks. for more than one year correct.
The latest amendments to the regulations contemplate a new and simpler procedure for the subsequent printing of engine identification marks (so-called PUS) for vehicles that are imported into Serbia or that have already been imported as used, which should finally solve this problem permanently.
