BELGRADE – Almost 80 percent of the managers of the companies who participated in the questionnaire conducted by the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) feel the consequences of the departure of quality staff from Serbia, and that most of the workers are absent in occupations in the IT field, especially data analysts and similar profiles. and in deficit are also sellers, traders, drivers, shopkeepers, as well as personnel for various occupations in agriculture and construction.

These are just some of the results of the questionnaire carried out by the Serbian Association of Managers within the project “Circular migration”. To overcome the lack of adequate manpower in the market, companies adjust their business by intensifying cooperation with faculties (40 percent of respondents), then through process automation, introduction of new technologies, dislocation from production sites.

Only 10 percent of those surveyed are currently opting for “import”. workforce.

The managers pointed out that certain movements of the state could affect greater employment in companies, from the equalization of direct benefits and subsidies to national and foreign companies, free training, reduction of taxes and contributions, as well as scholarships for students, or in a way special. taxation for trainees.

They also note that grants for joint initiatives with colleges and professional development programs for young people, as well as the temporary abolition of taxes and contributions for employees who get their first job, could help increase the hiring of quality staff.
