Mobile operators warn their users to pay attention to missed calls from the +88 area code and not to answer them because it is a scam.
Recently, numerous cases of this type of fraud have been reported. That is, calls are sent randomly from the equipment of an unknown operator to various fixed and mobile networks and are identified as missed calls.
Have you ever been cheated on before?
Mobile phone operators cannot block such calls because the calls are constantly coming from different numbers.
When the user returns a missed call, they usually receive a voicemail, and the establishment and duration of the call are charged according to the price list for international calls, and these are usually distant destinations for which the rate applies more expensive.
An additional problem is that you cannot end the call yourself, but it is configured that the machine will keep you connected for a certain time, which can cost you up to 600 dinars per minute. The only way to end the call in this case is to remove the battery from the phone.
We recommend that you do not return calls to these numbers and do not send SMS messages to them, so as not to get into the uncomfortable situation of paying high telephone bills, neither guilty nor obligated.
