Since mid-November, when the implementation of the Law for the Protection of the Population against Infectious Diseases began, 770 offense orders have been issued.
Both last weekend, both in Belgrade and in the mountain centers, the measures were violated. There were gatherings and parties.
The inspectors and the communal militia drew up 97 orders and imposed fines totaling 145,000 dinars.
They warn that for the holidays, the controls will be stricter.
– Our actions in Kopaonik last week and over the weekend and in Zlatibor showed that there is still a trend of non-compliance with all measures of personal protection, distance, barrier – said Goran Stamenković, Deputy Minister of Health for inspection matters.
It said there were 17 misdemeanor orders against Zlatibor and 22 against Kopaonik.
– They are not small amounts, but it is obvious that there are still people who certainly somehow create an uglier image in relation to what we expected – Stamenković said.
