Branislav Lecic, the candidate for the presidency of the DS in the party’s internal elections, which the current leadership does not recognize, said tonight that if he gets the support of the militants he will consolidate the DS and said that he will not expel anyone.
By the way, Lecic presented the program for the party president on three points in Kalemegdan: European Union, civil Serbia and equal opportunities for all.
Lecic saw today’s call from the party president, who told him to stop “misleading the public”, within two days, and that otherwise a disciplinary process will be initiated against other members who behave in the same way, such as “. frustrations” from a side that did not recognize that this is a great opportunity to unite not only the DS, but also democratic ideas.
“The policy we present is the policy that every Democrat should want,” Lecic said.
He claimed that the DS president has long been violating the party’s Statute and ruining the DS and its chances.
However, Lecic also believes that there is no more disagreement than how a third of the members of the Main Board in Madlenianum voted to hold an electoral assembly.
– Lutovac should have run as a true democrat to participate in that electoral assembly. If you win, continue, if you don’t win, then in that case I will continue with this policy – said Lecic.
According to him, Lutovac continues to be the president of the DS and to formally lead the party in the electoral period, and as of September 26, when the electoral results are known, the party, says Lecic, will begin a new life.
