Vladan Petrović (46) was injured when Miroslav P. (37) from this Belgrade neighborhood attacked him and stabbed him in the cheek in front of the family home in Ripanj.
As he says of Kurir, he assumes the attacker was waiting for him in an ambush. Petrovic said the attack occurred around 7.15pm when he went to the store.
– I left the house and saw the garbage in front of the gate that I was going to throw away. At that moment, a car approached me, Miroslav flew off and stabbed me in the left cheek. After that, I don’t remember anything anymore – Vladan told Kurir, who is currently receiving treatment at the Military Medical Academy.
As he says, Miroslav is known in Ripanj as troublesome and allegedly had trouble with the law before.
– I helped him, he worked for me for a salary, he had nothing to live on. I really don’t know why he did it. I was not expecting any attack, because I started to throw away the garbage that I found in front of the gate and I did not care if there was someone in the street. We have never been in a conflict, so I don’t know what the motive for the attack could be – said Vladan.
By the way, Vladan Petrović underwent an operation and is at the Military Medical Academy, and another operation awaits him. Vladan works in a driving school, has three children from his first marriage and expects a fourth with his second wife.
