The Commissioner for Enlargement arrived in Belgrade, where he personally presented the report on Serbia’s progress and the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans.

The meeting was held in the Presidency, where Aleksandar Vučić addresses the citizens with the Enlargement Commissioner.

We are happy when our neighbors also receive money from the European Union, that can only improve our cooperation. I must thank everyone who helped the whole region to progress, and I also thank the European taxpayers who will invest money in Serbia, said the President of Serbia.

It also announced investments in rural projects for rural progress, to be carried out together with the EU, and for an approximate value of 73 million euros.

– We talked about all the shortcomings, I talked about my shortcomings. It’s fair to be honest. We also talked about the report, it is important to see the political and economic things. Regarding the economy, in the previous year, Serbia is among the best in Europe – he emphasized.

– We speak more specifically about the future of the citizens of Serbia, I thank you for your support. And when I say that, I am very grateful and serious, also to all those who will invest a lot of money in the region and in our country. They will create an internet network for all rural areas, someone would say small projects, but 73 million euros have been invested in that. You know that we are rushing and rushing to build roads, said the President of Serbia.
