Folk music singer Dragisa Mitic Gile committed suicide today, leaving behind songs for which she will be remembered.
Namely, Dragiša hanged himself in his native Knićanin near Titel, reports “Objektiv”. This singer joined the Grand herd in 2015 and has been involved in music for about two decades. He was a “working singer” and often performed at parties in Serbia and abroad.
– I come from Knić near Titel. Each area has its own, there are local songs. I find myself in the songs I sing, but it is the audience that dictates the tempo. As for the song, I like it to be happier – he once said on the “Grand Magazin” program and added:
– I started filming for Grand in 2015 and have been in this business for 20 years, so I have experience. As we say, I mainly buy at weddings and parties, in the area where I live, Belgrade is normal. I also work in Austria.
As he said at that time, he knew from a very young age that music was his vocation:
– I was small and somehow I was very attracted to the accordion, I can play it. So I began to sing.
