“I have seen it all, the rules of how no one will pass DO NOT EXIST”

In recent weeks, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of infected people in Serbia. No one could have expected this wave of epidemics to be much more severe than the last. These days, it has only been confirmed that there is always more, and that no one can say with certainty what awaits us in the coming days, weeks and even months.

How unpredictable the corona is, or rather how little we know about it, is also demonstrated by the state of Igor Koruga, a man who decided on his Facebook to share his fight with the corona virus, but also the consequences.

At first, as he says, he was hesitant to share it all with other people, but ultimately decided to do it anyway.

– This is my fourth official relapse of the disease (unofficially the sixth) of complications after Covid19 infection. This is officially my third emergency hospitalization with a seriously threatening pneumonia (the one in which a very high quality immunologist, pulmonologist, radiologist and infectious disease specialist each start with: oops! This is officially the eighth month of fighting and recovery after infection (March), the seventeenth negative PCR test. And the medical / physiological paradox of all this is: that these immune autoinflammatory processes that Covid19 creates should not happen to me as an immunosuppressed person (because I have weak immune components for such mechanism), but to people with healthy immunity.

Igor points out that so far there are only officially three cases with its symptoms in the world, and that they are people with congenital immunodeficiency.

– I think that my doctors, my family and I have been in communication with foreign doctors and some of the greatest experts in immunology for months, and I think that the information is still extremely scarce since we are talking (so far) officially of three cases to world level with this symptoms in people with congenital immunodeficiency – says and adds:

– Although, with the support of doctors, friends, family and colleagues, I slowly returned to normal daily and professional life, nothing has been certain or resolved in terms of recovery and treatment – Igor warns.

As he says, this is just one of many stories of people struggling after a covid disease, including the “weak” but also the “stronger” who have lain in bed for months and barely survived, or not. they did it.

– I’ve seen it all. There are no rules about who will pass, and (we cannot) fully know our body and its weaknesses. All the stories, true and false, about mortality statistics regarding seasonal flu, about incompetent and corrupt state policies, about capitalism, about bacteria in masks, protect or not, about the revolt against discipline … they are really, absolutely more irrelevant. he said.

– Love is important, love for yourself and others. That always remains and is necessary for us, especially in such circumstances. So take care of yourself and those around you – says Igor.

– Do not push the “weak” into isolation, thinking that only that can help them, because they too have to live and work in our common daily life. Strengthen your immunity. Protect yourself preventively: with masks or scarves, scarves, hats, whatever (wash and change them daily); Reduce or control as much as you can the conditions of meeting people. At least at this moment – he added.

In the end, he noted that “nothing should come to a complete stop but just to become a little more aware and controlled independently on an individual level, responsibly, rationally and fearlessly.”

– I would like to think of people who cannot go to the doctor, who cannot pay for tests, who cannot be isolated or who have nowhere to isolate themselves. It just takes a little will and love. I know it is possible, because I have wonderful people around me who convince me of this with their daily behavior – concluded Igor.
