Miroslav Lazanski, the Serbian ambassador to Russia, joined the First Television morning program, where he commented on Victory Day, as well as the situation regarding the crown virus in Serbia and Russia.

Last night there was a fire in a Moscow hospital and a patient lost his life.

– It’s Sunday, early in the morning, I don’t have any information. Only the commission of inquiry will determine why the fire occurred.

Victory day?

– Yes, there was no parade on the ground, 366 planes and 266 helicopters flew in 48 cities. The planes emitted smoke in the colors of the Russian flag, and the interesting thing is that two helicopters flew over the Serbian embassy, this happened for the first time in history. They flew over the Serbian embassy in Moscow in an honorary alignment, which is a large part of the fraternal people. I asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs if I could go to Red Square and observe everything, but that was not possible. You know, for the first time in 50 days, I left the embassy. People are afraid, you know, everything works normally here, but people adhere to the measures, a million people still need to return to Moscow.

– Currently, 120,000 doctors and 47,000 students participate in the fight against the crown. Their doctors will get the same raise as the Serbs, they have built many hospitals, made of solid materials, and they themselves say that this will definitely improve their health system. Russia keeps this under control, the numbers are not great, but we have to look at the total population and then have a court, says Lazanski.

Opening of borders?

– There is no talk of opening. Our people want to go to Serbia here because there are coffee shops. Here, it is only possible to play sports, going to shops, schools and colleges are opening in the third phase, but there are no cafes for now.

Economic activity and corona virus in Serbia

– Russian experts are amazed at how Serbia solves the problem with the corona virus. They like the economic measures taken by the Serbian government, concludes Miroslav Lazanski.
