ALEKSINAC – Sasa Prokic (51) from Gornja Pescanica near Aleksinac, on Tuesday shortly before 5 pm near the old “Nis Express” bus station at the entrance of Aleksinac, he killed his ex-wife Milena (44) with four firearm shots. and then he shot himself and succumbed to the hospital.
The drama took place when Sasha waited for Milena when she returned from work with the intention of trying once again to persuade her to return to the village and live together. However, when Milena refused and showed the heart she supposedly received from a new friend, Saša poured herself a glass of bile and, enraged, pulled out a gun. Milena tried to escape but was shot four times and dropped dead on the spot. Right after, Sasha shot himself. Severely injured, he was taken to hospital but died shortly after.
After the first news of the tragedy, the neighbors anxiously recounted the event and accused Milena. They say that the Prokić were poor, but that Sasa and her father managed to start a family and settle down, and then Milena “got mad” and wanted to break away and be a lady.
Until her marriage, Milena lived with her father in the village of Kraljevo, near Aleksinac. He visited his family, but after his divorce from Sasa on September 3, he still went to the village to visit his daughter, who was having problems with her family.
Sasha took every opportunity to try to convince Milena to return to the village and continue the marriage union, but she refused. Word spread that she had found another man in Aleksinac, which is why Sasha’s jealousy culminated and was the trigger for a family tragedy.
