We met him as an inspector in the series “Killers of my father” and as an Albanian terrorist in “Balkan Border”, but he only got under our skin in the role of Baća in “South Wind”! Miodrag Miki Radonjic keeps his private life away from the public. The famous actor revealed details of his childhood in his confession.

Until she got married, Miodrag’s mother, Branka, lived the life of a true music star, and in the 1980s she was related in some way to the then-biggest pop star, Lepa Brena.

– Until my brother and I were born, my mother was very successful in the music business, she was the accordion champion of the former Yugoslavia. She worked a lot at weddings, she even toured Europe and America. In those eighties, her coach was the famous Raka Đokić, who was also representing Lepa Brena at that time. I only had two clients, Brena and my mom. The moment my mother decided to start a family, she put her career aside and dedicated herself to us.

Father Nenad graduated from the College of Civil Engineering and worked in various places. When I was little, he was employed in the army, for a time in Novi Sad, so he traveled from Belgrade every day by car.

Miodrag remembers that they used to play music at home and that one of their main hobbies at that time was singing.

– My mother used to play the accordion or the piano, and my brother and I sang, especially at parties. We played folk songs from “Stop, stop, Ibar vodo”, to “Hey, guys” from the group “Legends”, with which we danced.

The popular actor says he was mischievous during elementary school and did not receive a Vuk diploma due to a poor grade from the government.

– I used to fight someone, but I never took a brick to break someone’s head. That rarely happened in my generation, which cannot be said for today’s youth. Today, elementary school students carry boxers and knives with them, and that was not the case in my day, even though we grew up in a much more dangerous time and the state was in greater chaos. He knew how to fight, but he also knew how to protect those weaker than me. He had all five except the government, and because of that, he couldn’t be a Vukovar.

When he started first grade, he didn’t always have money for a snack.

“I remember that my brother and I received two dinars from my parents. That was enough to buy a muffin and yogurt. We took a cup and filled it with mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup, so that it was not completely empty. There was no pechenitsa or cheese. At that time, none of my colleagues stood out, we were all in the same situation. None of them wore more expensive sneakers than the other, but we all lived in the illusion that everything was so normal, “says the actor.

His first love happened in the seventh grade of elementary school.

– I had an affair with my first girlfriend on a field trip in seventh grade, that’s when I kissed for the first time. That relationship lasted about a month. I had my first sexual experience in high school. I will also tell you an interesting situation from kindergarten. The teacher found a friend and I naked in the bathroom. We stand facing each other and look at each other. We were only five years old. It was a real scandal at the time. They called my mother, who was shocked and scolded me for it.

His love for the seventh art was present throughout his growth, so joining the FDA was a logical step.

– My late grandmother Danica constantly recorded the series “Better Life” on videotapes and played it to me and my brother when we were restless. Not only that series, but also “Happy People” and “Hot Wind”. My brother and I used to repeat lines from those series when we were kids, and that’s how we played acting. We adore Popara, when he played Zoran Rankić, he was our favorite character on the show.

He admits that at one point in his life he found himself at a crossroads and wanted to give up his chosen profession. – I wanted to drop everything and stop acting. At one point, I doubted myself, in terms of whether I was born for this job. He was also interested in what my perspective would be. Whenever I felt like this, in the end I still found the strength in myself to carry on. And then when no one believed in me, I did. If it wasn’t, then it wouldn’t have been created for this job – concludes Radonjić.
