The arrest of Veljko Belivuk and his group of criminal fanatics, who are suspected of the most cruel crimes, remains a topic that Serbia is talking about.
Almost every day new details emerge that shock the public, but this has been the case since Serbia first heard about “Velja Nevolja”.
He first came to the public’s attention in April 2016, when a video surfaced of the beating of Partizan security member Miloš Vazura. The video shows Belivuk and Darko Ristic, alias “Meda”, beating up security member Bozo Kumburovic.
The public was then stunned by the brutality of the images and the violence expressed.
The beatings were recorded by cameras at the Partizan stadium, but they did not record how Ristic struck another security guard and inflicted serious bodily injury, for which he was convicted.
In the only interview, Belivuk recounted how it happened, Kurir reports.
Belivuk said this all happened after the conflict with management and that he and Sale were alarmed when security was hired, which should prevent them from entering the Partizan stadium.
“That couldn’t have happened. If I risk for the club every day, then some balavanders can’t come and tell me I can’t get in,” Belivuk said at the time.
He said that they spoke kindly to them, that they told them not to interfere “in someone else’s house”, because they don’t interfere in their affairs either, but that he was convinced that the Vazuri “filled their heads that we wanted to hurt him.” ..
“It was the day of the match, and only a recording of the moment of the conflict was made with a member of his security. Before that, we went through, we called the people who work there. We are here because we have a fan boutique in the stadium. Look, please, they’ve installed new cameras. “We didn’t see each other for five or six days. And then came Boža Kumburović, who, when they were filming in the direction of the eggs like a peacock, scattered in the box. Even then I called the guy I was with before in security and told him not to interfere “Let him take that per diem of 20-30 euros, there is nothing debatable, but do not interfere in this. That was a few days before this recording”, Velja Nevolja said.
The video shows the two greeting each other, which Belivuk confirms.
“I go up to him, hug him, kiss him and whisper in his ear: ‘Brother, stay out of this. I already told you’. He responds, ‘Okay, okay,’ and something moves. I repeat, ‘Listen, you came to the house with us, when I was with you at the club and training, I behaved normally. Now you are in my house. Let nothing happen to him. ‘ He responds with: ‘You don’t talk to him in that tone. “He says that I pass it on to Salet. There is a detail in the video where I try to do it right with my hand., Don’t let it explode you, let me … ‘As he mentioned to my mother, at the same moment … They write, ‘hit him on the wrong side.’ Hitting on the wrong side is when you approach someone from behind and hit him. “A telegram to the boxer who played for the national team that I’m going to hit him, there’s nothing wrong with that. To tell the truth, he did well. He did very well, “Belivuk said.
He was then sentenced to one year of house arrest and Ristic to 10 months. Belivuk said at the time that he was sure that the sentence was imposed on him due to great public pressure, as well as that he did not meet any conditions for his arrest.
“I have the address where I registered, I have a job, a wife and two children, I have no formalities pending, they do not threaten me with prison for more than five years, but I have a passport with the police. There was no reason to hold me back. I know why a fight is a nightmare, it is normal for men to fight, but lately it has become abnormal, and it was worse for me that my wife was upset, she packed her things and wanted to go home, because I was never there, she was not he saw her in that light. He couldn’t recognize me, “Velja Nevolja said at that time.
