For days, the people of Belgrade have been talking about a new diagonal crosswalk near the Youth Center. Many expected a miracle, but it happened. Still, three days is enough for each miracle, but for now, the people of Belgrade are satisfied.
Everyone who often crosses here knows the difficulty when it is necessary to go from the Youth Center to “Staklenac”, the traffic lights usually close alternately, so it is advisable to be lucky in traffic, even if you are not a driver but a pedestrian.
While many expected the magic wand to regulate vehicles, basically everything is much simpler. That is, all traffic lights stop for 30 seconds, while pedestrians move during that time.
Everyone who crossed the weekend is satisfied. However, the actual proof arrives tomorrow, the first business day. That is, the crowds in the tunnel are well known, especially at the exit of the tunnel. We will soon see how the new rules will affect the crowds at rush hour.
