How Police Officers and BIA Members Helped Coluvia Grow Marijuana

The investigation portal KRIK published the details of the new accusation in the “Jovanjica” case, recently filed against policemen and intelligence agents who were protecting Predrag Koluvija, accused of growing more than a ton of marijuana on the property of his company.

KRIK journalist Bojana Jovanović explained to H1 that the text “Coluvia Security Council” reveals how people from the Ministry of the Interior, BIA and VOA, protected the marijuana plantation.

“Unlike the first indictment, where the prosecutor dealt with the way marijuana was handled, in the second, he dealt with people from the state who helped Coluvia produce that marijuana safely. “They used the ‘Conversations’ app and communicated through it, and members of the security services and police officers helped Koluvija in various ways,” said Jovanović.

The prosecutor in that accusation, as she pointed out, alleges that members of the security services and police, on the one hand, were in charge of security, and on the other hand they checked the people that Coluvia wanted to hire, they verified the names, surnames and license plates suspicious of following him.

“They even handed him a forged police badge and a forged decision from the Military Intelligence Agency, in which he claims that (Koluvija) is an agent of that service, and police badges so that he can travel,” Jovanović said.

The role of Dijana Hrkalović is unclear

It indicated that the defendants were members of the BIA, the police, as well as a member of the VOA on the run, and that there were members of the security services who were heard as witnesses, while some were mentioned in the indictment without being heard.

One of them is the former Secretary of State for the Interior Ministry, Diana Hrkalović, for whom, as Jovanović said, it is not clear from the prosecution what her role was.

Branislav Radosavljevic, who was his assistant, is accused of handing police badges to the group, which helped Koluvija travel unhindered, especially when it comes to the road. His driver and the head of security borrowed those plates. So there is a connection between the group and Dijana Hrkalović. What we do not know is whether that connection is direct or indirect. The prosecutor did not call her to testify and it is not clear what her role is, “explained Jovanovic.

Try to cover up the case after the arrest.

The KRIK journalist said that the indictment also shows that members of the security services and police continued to communicate through the “Conversaciones” app even after Coluvia’s arrest, and analyzed how “the damage could be repaired.”

“Is it possible to pressure the media not to report on that case, which is especially interesting considering that the media knew nothing about this case for some time? It is common practice for the Interior Ministry to issue a statement after each action, and when it comes to a large action, such as ‘Jovanjica0’, the normal and customary is for the minister to come out and announce the results. of the action, “recalled Jovanovic.

Since the public has not had any information about “Jovanjica” for days, the communication of the accused may be the answer to the question of what happened, that is, as the KRIK journalist said, “somehow a conspiracy of silence”. .

He recalled that the public was informed about that case only after former People’s Party MP Miroslav Aleksić spoke publicly about it and pressured the Interior Ministry and the Minister to come out and finally announce what happened.

Jovanovic also said that they had no dilemma whether to publish the details of the indictment, as, as he pointed out, this is one of the most important cases and it is important to reveal all the connections and how the public officials got involved in the criminal process. acts.
