Meteorologist Nedeljko Todorovic says that rain is the only precipitation we can expect for the New Year, in most of Serbia.
Although many expected snow on New Years Eve and during the holidays, it seems that there will be nothing.
– In the evening between December 31 and January 1, we can expect a warmer variant of winter and holidays. This means that there will be rain in the lower regions, especially in the southwest and west. There is also the possibility of rain in Belgrade, but the good news is that there will be no ice or ice, says Nedeljko Todorović.
According to the meteorologist, this weather will last the first seven to ten days next year.
– After January 10, maybe we can expect snow and a change in weather. Whether it will be before the Serbian New Year or after, we still cannot say with great certainty. Chances are there will be snow for those holidays, that’s the way it is now – says Todorović.
Remember that we are expecting a cold snap for this New Year’s Eve weekend, but that it will be warmer next week.
– From Monday, moderately cloudy, but warmer than the weekend. In the south and west with sunnier periods, in the north and east in some places light rains. The minimum temperature will be zero to 4 degrees, and the daily maximum from 7 to 13. In Belgrade, the minimum temperature will be 3 and the daily maximum 10 degrees. After that, as for the exact temperature on New Year’s Eve, it will be 2 to 9 degrees on Thursday, and 1 to 6 degrees on Friday, they say from RHMZ.
