In the last 24 hours, 3,138 people were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, while 72 newly infected people were registered, and in this case, the “Konov coefficient” is 2.29!

If we compare the data with yesterday’s, when 5,513 people were tested for the coronavirus, 74 new infected people were registered and the “Kon coefficient” was 1.34, we can see that the situation has worsened.

What is obvious is that today we have 2,000 fewer people examined, while the number of new confirmed cases is almost the same, which means that the epidemiological picture is somewhat worse.

How important is the “Kon coefficient”?

At the end of the first wave of the coronavirus, Dr. Predrag Kon said “that we will be able to talk about lifting the state of emergency and lifting restrictive measures when this number falls below five percent.”

And to make the situation more stable, an even lower value is needed.

– When the number of new infected in relation to the number of tested falls below 0.5 percent, it is a sporadic occurrence – said Dr. Predrag Kon at the time we thought the first wave of the crown had passed.
