Hoti said the expectations on the Pristina side are that a final agreement can be reached this year.

“I do not say it with total conviction, but all the communications that I have during these three months, and especially during the last three weeks, I am convinced that we are going towards that,” Hoti told the Pristina media.

He states that the agreement on the White House and the consecutive meetings in Brussels show the first effects on the dialogue.

Hoti gave details of the draft agreement during the dialogue in Washington, and point 10, which was deleted, indicating that there was a paragraph that said that the two parties should recognize non-majority communities and their rights.

Kosovo’s prime minister will visit Brussels for the second time this week.

During the day, he will have a meeting with the President of the European Parliament, David Sasoli, and will also participate in the debate in the Foreign Policy Committee of that Parliament.

The European Parliament announced that they would discuss the situation in Kosovo and the region, the progress of the dialogue process between Belgrade and Prfistina and the liberalization of visas for Kosovo.
