Two young men, Ž. S. (24) from Krčedin and IN (18) from Kostolac, were arrested on suspicion of having kissed 13-year-old girls.
The two young men were denounced by the girls’ grandmother and parents, and the detainees defended themselves because they thought these minors were much older.
Ž. S. is accused of having sexual relations with a minor from a village. The case was discovered by police on Thursday, when the suspect was called in for an interview at the police station.
Parents in prison
As we learned unofficially, the suspect drove to the home where the minor lives on Thursday afternoon.
– She left the house and sat in the car with him. This was noticed by one of his acquaintances and reported it to his grandmother. The two then followed them and found them in a car near an old brick factory. According to one story, when she saw her grandmother, the girl and the suspect fled in a car. According to another story, the grandmother took the girl out of the car and took her home, where she, supposedly rebellious because of the grandmother who was following her, began to threaten to commit suicide – explains Kurir’s source.
As he explained to us, the police arrived at the house where the girl lives and supposedly learned what had happened in a conversation with her.
“The suspect was taken to the police station, where he said he did not know how old he was,” Kurir’s interlocutor said.
Grandma wouldn’t say what exactly happened, but as we learned from the neighbors, it’s not easy for her either.
– The girl’s parents are in prison and there are three more brothers and sisters. She is the oldest, she has a younger sister and two others who, as far as I know, are in a foster family. His father has been in prison for about five years, and his mother for narcotics for five to six months. Grandma takes care of the girls as much as she can, but I think it’s difficult for her – says one of the neighbors.
A neighbor we also managed to talk to confirmed to Kurir that the girl is troublesome.
– I think this kid saw it all and grew up with an altered value system. I often saw her in the company of older men, who abused their family situation for years – says the local.
He denied the blame
IN (18) de Kostolac, who was arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a girl, was reported to the police by the minor’s parents.
– It is said that IN was in Belgrade with the girl from October 6 to 8, when there was sexual contact between them. When they took him to the police, he defended himself at the hearing saying that he did not know how old the girl he was with was. He explained that she seemed older to him, said a source in Kurir who was familiar with the case, adding that after the High Court hearing, IN was released to defend himself.
According to him, an expert examination of his intellectual condition will be carried out during the investigation.
– If it is determined that she has the same intellectual level as the girl, there will be no crime. It will also be taken into account that he is a younger adult, because he is 18.5 years old. A girl was also questioned, who said that there was no coercion from IN and that they fell in love – says our interlocutor.

My son is not a rapist
The father of the arrested Ž. S. says they don’t know what exactly happened between her son and the girl.
– The son was called by the police on Thursday. I drove it not knowing what it was about, my car is still at the police station. It wasn’t until we got there that I heard they were accusing him with a minor kiss. To be honest, I didn’t know how old she was either, and I know her by sight, because that’s how we all know each other. I do not know if my son kissed her or not, but I know that she is not a rapist – says the father visibly shocked.
He explained that the girl had a relationship with a young man who is 21 years old and that he has a sister, and that his daughter is friends with her from school.
– My son only met her through that young man because they probably knew each other from that story. On the other hand, I saw that young man, who had had a relationship with that girl before, and he told me that my son had kissed her. That’s what the one in a relationship with her told me. But now, as a parent, a question arises for me. This one was in a relationship with her and that’s normal, and my son supposedly kissed her. I could not talk to my son, but I ask God that he has nothing to do with her – says the father
