The exact cause of the baby’s death will be known after the autopsy ordered by the Superior Prosecutor of Subotica.
This morning, a family from Martonoš near Kanjiža, in the north of Bačka, reported the death of their baby F.V. to the police. that the mother found dead. It turns out that this is a baby of only 40 days, who was found with no visible injuries, so far there is no indication that it is a violent death.
The exact cause of the baby’s death will be known after the autopsy ordered by the Subotica Superior Prosecutor’s Office, which is conducting an investigation into this tragic event. Because of that, the baby’s body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Center in Novi Sad.

The Kikinda Police Administration, which also includes the Kanjiža area, confirmed this tragic event, but was unable to provide further details. The investigation at the scene was carried out by members of the Kanjiža police station and the Deputy Prosecutor General of Subotica.
– The mother allegedly breastfed the baby for about five hours, and then two hours later found it with no signs of life. For now, there is no clear indication that the baby’s death was caused by violence, but the exact cause of death will be known only after the rejection. This tragedy occurred in a large family that lives on welfare and in which there are more children, the media found out from a source close to the investigation.
The Office of the Senior Prosecutor in Subotica is conducting an additional investigation into this unpleasant event.
