Aleksandar Pljesković (19) died in a traffic accident on the Ada Bridge in Belgrade yesterday morning, when the “Renault Clio” he was driving crossed into the opposite lane and collided with three vehicles.
Died in hospital
The accident occurred at 8.30 am, and the “Renault Clio” was moving in the direction of Požeška Street.
– Suddenly he lost control and crashed into vehicles going towards Banovo brdo – says our source and adds:
– “Clio” stopped at the bridge fence. Eyewitnesses called an ambulance, which took the injured person to the Emergency Center in a state of unconsciousness. Unfortunately, despite the fights of the doctors, Pljesković passed away in hospital. Like AM, the driver whose car Pljesković hit, said that after the accident, everything happened in a second.
– I was walking towards Banovo Brdo when the “clio” crossed into my lane and hit my car directly. Then it bounced off the sidewalk, hit another vehicle, which also hit me, the upset driver told the media and continued:
– The driver of “Klija” was seriously injured, hitting his head on the seat and some metal parts. We called him, he was showing signs of life until the ambulance arrived.
Rain and slippery road
Police conducted an investigation and are determining why the young man lost control of the car and crossed the entire line into the opposite lane.
– If rain and slippery road can be the cause of the accident, the investigation will prove it. However, he is a young rider, who may not have managed to cope in less than ideal weather conditions, added our interlocutor.
