Police arrested BA (38) from Smederevo on suspicion that he raped a fourteen-year-old girl whose mother he previously had an emotional relationship with.
He lured the girl who lives in a foster family, with the promise that he would take her to her mother, and then raped her, “Novosti” learned unofficially.
According to the information in this document, BA had a relationship with the girl’s mother, but they separated some time ago and the woman moved to Požarevac. There, he supposedly started a new family. Their 14-year-old daughter stayed in Smederevo, with a foster father.
– BA took the opportunity that the boy knew him and offered to take her to her mother’s house in Požarevac to visit her. However, on the way to Požarevac, he raped her in an abandoned house, says a source in the investigation.
It all happened overnight between December 30 and December 31.
He then returned the girl to the adoptive parents, to whom the frightened boy told the nightmare he had been through. They immediately went to the police together and reported the rapist.
After a short search, the police arrested him. The suspect allegedly hid in the vicinity of Požarevac, that is, in Kostolac. He was detained for up to 48 hours.
The police have not responded so far, so the details of this horrendous case are not known, nor what he said at the hearing at the Smederevo Police Department.
BA will be handed over to the prosecutor today, who will question him, confirmed in the Smederevo Superior Prosecutor’s Office.
Now he is expected to tell BA before the prosecutor what happened on the fateful night.
After the hearing, the court will decide on the arrest.
