An investigation has been launched against the young woman for aggravated homicide, because it is suspected that she killed Obadić with a blow to the head and that with an exercise weight. However, the autopsy report, which also gives an account of the result of the chemical-toxicological analysis, sheds new light on this case.
On Obadić’s body, injuries of up to one centimeter were found on the left arch, bruises around the left eye, around the ear, on the right cheekbone, shoulder and elbow, on the finger and thumb.
– The super experts must determine whether it is minor or serious injuries, as well as the way in which they occurred – says, for “Novosti”, the lawyer Krsto Bobot, defense lawyer of the suspect Sanja R. – It will be determined whether these injuries and the My opinion is that they did not contribute in any way to Obadić’s death. Apparently, Sanja will go free after that find.
IDENTITY CHANGED
OBADIC was known to the police as a drug dealer, but also a man who had several conflicts with the law. That is why he changed his identity a few years ago. Although he was known as Veljko Okuka Oki, 11 years ago he was arrested in Belgrade on suspicion of kidnapping and forced retention of a minor MR (17), who, as announced, was engaged in prostitution. He was sentenced to four years in prison. He was reportedly sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder in Nevesinje in May 1993.
As we found out, the Prosecutor’s Office is already hinting at that possibility, that is, the reclassification of the crime, because, by all accounts, Obadić’s injuries are easy and are not the cause of his death.
On the other hand, the wounds that the girl received on the fateful night were also examined. He was found to have a hematoma in the middle of his forehead, a six-centimeter blue swelling on his head, a five-centimeter bloody hematoma on the left side of his face, damage to his left lip, and a bruise the size of the fingertip on her neck, which may indicate she was strangled … there are also three large bruises on her arm.
“Her injuries indicate that she was brutally beaten,” says Sanja’s other defense attorney, Vicentija Darijevic’s attorney. – Meanwhile, Sanja has mentally stabilized and, after an additional expert find, will put up a more comprehensive defense. According to all that is known now, the victim was the girl, not Obadić. The injuries they both have say that she defended herself.
During her defense presentation at the VJT, shortly after the tragedy at the Deligradska Street building, Sanja R. stated:
– I didn’t want to kill him. I defended myself. If he hadn’t tried to protect me, I would be in his place now and he in my place. It was … him or me!
During the investigation, alcohol was found in the apartment, as well as various narcotics and even cocaine.
