The young mathematicians of Serbia made the nation happy again with another great success!
The Serbian high school math team is the 2020 Balkan team champion in the competition of 11 official teams and 7 visitors.
This success was achieved at the 37th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO), which was held online on October 30. to 5.11. this year, organized by the Romanian Association of Mathematics, said the president of the Association of Mathematicians of Serbia, Dr. Vojislav Andrić.
The individual results of the students are 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.
This success was achieved through:
Dobrica Jovanovic (Gymnasium of Mathematics) 40 points, gold medal, Igor Engi (Gymnasium of Mathematics Belgrade) 32 points, gold medal, Uros Colovic (Gymnasium of Mathematics) 30 points, silver medal, Mateja Vukelic (Gymnasium of Mathematics ) 29 points, silver medal, Milos Milicev (Mathematical Gymnasium) 26 points, silver medal and Jovan Arizanovic (“Svetozar Markovic” Nis Gymnasium) 20 points, bronze medal.
