In the session of the Crisis Personnel for the Protection of the Health of the Population of the Republic of Serbia against Infectious Disease Kovid 19, among other things, the decision was made that as of today all service facilities should have a person responsible for implementing epidemiological measures.
His working hours remain until 11 pm, as before, but strict measures are prescribed: it is mandatory to enter with a mask, which can be removed when sitting at a table, but if you go to the bathroom or leave the restaurant, the mask must again be used.
Kovid guards will be required at all commercial and service facilities that have more than two employees.
“People who are at work, and otherwise conscientious and responsible, may lose their attention at some point. This is exactly why control is needed and the warden will be in charge of that, said prof Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević, epidemiologist and deputy director of the Serbian Institute of Public Health “Dr. Milan Jovanović Batut “at today’s press conference.
He explained that this does not apply, for example, to kiosks or spaces where an employee is employed, but to all facilities that have more than two employees.
“We should not look at the measures from the aspect of punishment, but to bring us benefits,” he said.
