Tomorrow there will be a new crisis staff session, in which decisions must be made on the conditions for entering Serbia during the holiday period.
As Kurir has already written, the session is scheduled for 3:30 pm
By the way, today Branislav Tiodorović, member of the Crisis Team and epidemiologist, said that measures should be introduced for Serbian citizens coming to the country from abroad, such as those in force in those countries.
“Negative PCR test, no longer than 48 hours, and those who do not have it, should be quarantined for 10 days,” explained Tiodorović.
Epidemiologist Predrag Kon confirmed that new measures will be introduced at the borders and that the session will surely decide on the extent of the measures that already exist.
“With the fact that it has been settled whether there will be any new measures at the borders, yes, now it is just a technical question how it will be implemented. So it has been decided,” Kon said.
When it comes to restricting movement, Kon says space rental calls for various celebrations are posted on social media, and such private gatherings are difficult to control, so the big question is whether it is possible to control those private celebrations. Kon said.
“So we have to think about restricting movement,” Conn said.
The epidemiologist Tiodorović also stated that the profession expected the situation to calm down, which did not happen, and that, although there may be stagnation, the assessment is not optimistic.
“If this continues, crisis staff will have to think about introducing a state of emergency and a curfew,” Tiodorovic said.
Let us remind you, according to the latest data, yesterday at 3:00 p.m., 5,679 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Serbia and 48 patients died, which is a slight decrease compared to the previous days.
